The system to use depends on the situation of the enclosure in question:

. Reduction motor with transmission spindle and tensed chain loop, located on one of the end walls.

. Double reduction motor synchronized by chain or toothed belt, in cases where there is no room on one wall, (e.g., if the enclosure is against one wall of a house) and one must be installed on either side.

In either case, a suitable end-stop system must be fitted.

According to the purpose the enclosure is to serve, an anemometer, pluviometer and/or temperature sensor may be installed if desired to automate opening and closing.
