The materials usually used are:
* Cellular polycarbonate with UV protection (translucent)
in 10, 16 or 25 mm thickness. Multicellular.
* Transparent compact polycarbonate
* Transparent compact methacrylate
* Laminated safety glass
* Double-glazing panels in laminated safety glass
Other materials may be used for specific cases.
The choice of material depends on the degree of insulation
and transparency that is required, although in general, at
2.5 metres above floor level glazing is always done with
laminated safety glass, because of its transparency, its
scratch-resistance and the fact that it does not require
any special care when cleaning.
